The 9th Annual Texas Kosher BBQ Championship is dedicated to the memory of Chuck Blount, a longtime San Antonio Express-News Journalist. The event will be held on Sunday, November 12th at Congregation Agudas Achim, 16550 Huebner Road, San Antonio, TX. From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. “Chuck served as a celebrity judge for the competition for many years,” said Robi Jalnos, the Competition’s Founding Chairman. “His insights, friendship, and support of the event contributed significantly to its success. I was consulting with him just a few days before he passed in June. We miss him dearly.
